Restorative Care

State-Of-The-Art Restorative Dentistry

We know that even when you do everything right, something can go wrong. If you are suffering from a dental problem, we are here to help. Modern technology combined with the in-depth experience of our clinical team can assure you of a successful & long-lasting result. Whether the cause is an accident or disease, we can restore your smile.

Ceramic Crowns

Crowns cover & support a tooth with a large filling when there isn’t enough tooth left. It can be used to attach a bridge, protect a weak tooth from breaking or restore one that’s already broken. A crown is a good way to cover teeth that are discolored or badly shaped as well, or to cover a dental implant. A crown can make your tooth stronger & improve its appearance.

Mercury-Free Dentistry

Mercury Amalgam (silver) fillings may be hazardous to your health. At Wilmington Dental Excellence, we believe that the overall health of our patients always comes first. Accordingly, at our office we have elected to only use new & advanced fillings made of tooth-colored materials that contain no metals or mercury. It’s just one more way that we show our patients how much we care. Your safety & smile are our primary concerns!

Dental Implants

Dental implants are essentially permanent, attached teeth that replace partials, bridges or dentures. A titanium implant is permanently attached to your bone & a prosthetic tooth (crown) is attached to the implant. Implants are preferred to bridges because they can improve your bite without damaging neighboring teeth (like a bridge might). Treatment can be finished in three to five visits over the space of about four to 12 months.

Root Canal Therapy

A root canal is a small channel inside your tooth that provides the tooth with nutrients. If it becomes injured or infected, you may lose the tooth. At Wilmington Dental Excellence, we can remedy the problem & restore the damaged tooth, while ensuring that you are as comfortable as possible during the entire procedure. Nowadays, thanks to modern dental advances & technology, root canals are relatively pain-free. Don’t suffer needlessly, call us today for an appointment.
